German-speaking Business Development Trainee: Climate Plan Implementation Partner

Are you eager to apply your skills to tackle the climate crisis? Are you fluent in German and English and ready for an exciting opportunity at a rapidly growing climate-tech startup?
Kausal is looking for a trainee (4 to 6 months) to support cities in their net-zero journey. Your task is to find and contact cities that are ready to turn their climate goals into actions with the help of our software. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to continue work after the internship.
What you will do
- Identify potential clients and reach out to them (email, phone, LinkedIn etc.)
- Schedule initial consultations and meetings
- Organize and maintain contact information in the company CRM system
- Create interesting content about our product for potential clients
- Participate in online seminars and sales meetings
- Support sales strategy development and implementation
We hope you
- Share our values of openness, urgency, objectivity, and optimism.
- Have a background in e.g. environmental studies, business, or similar, and if you are now studying, you are at the late stage of your studies.
- Are eager to contact new people.
- Communicate fluently in German and English (our working language). N.B. Finnish is not required.
- Enjoy remote work as our team and clients are located on four continents.
Pay, location, and working hours
- We pay a typical traineeship salary according to the Collective Agreement of the IT service sector.
- Additional bonus available for meetings booked with potential clients.
- The work is fully remote and based in Finland. If you happen to be around Helsinki, you can meet our team members live.
- We are looking for a 40-100% time commitment during the traineeship starting as soon as you are available.
- Working hours are flexible and can be fitted to your studies if needed.
